That looks like an interesting spread! I had Indian Buffet, the mango dal was killer.

Leftover grilled pork loin with potatoes and corn that were also cooked on the grill but in tinfoil and cast iron.

Man, it’s been too long since I had fondue...

Happy Birthday to your partner! By the looks of it, he’s having a pretty damn good birthday!

Throwing a black bean patty in the toaster oven and eating it with a tortilla. That plus strawberries. I haven’t been to the store in a while and my meal prep this week consisted of cutting a few pounds of strawberries. So a week of sad lunches for me haha

It was excellent, thanks!

A new Indian restaurant opened in our neighborhood but we haven’t been brave enough to try it yet. We have a go-to place that we love and we keep ending up there instead.

I hope so, he’s had some tough times at work lately so I hope it keeps it off his mind for a while.

Time to celebrate the good and (temporarily at least) forget the bad!

Just a ham and provolone sandwich, I’m now borderline depressed after seeing your lunch.

Fondue, or “Swiss Hot Pot”.

I had a #4 at Taco Time NW (that is, the far better version) with rice instead of tots, since we’re stressing about the dog and I didn’t want to eat my homemade pizza two days in a row.

Cheese fondue to start, main course was cooked in court boullion, and then chocolate fondue.

those are the fanciest ravioli I believe I have ever seen

(my mother used to make a chocolate fondue on halloween - we never got to go trick-or-treating due to “reasons”, but her fondue was awesome)

Strawberry lemonade!

JK, though that’s what I immediately thought when I saw them come to the table. They were sun-dried tomato and mascarpone. I’m not a fan of ravioli so he got to have them all. He said they were very good.
